I am contacting you out of frustration and anger. I contacted your customer service department concerning my TCL TV that was under factory warranty on September 20, 2023.

As of this date, TCL has not solved my problem.

As you will see if you review your Customer Service notes/emails, I have done everything that has been asked of me. In return, TCL has done little to solve my warranty problem.
With whom may I communicate that has the authority to take action on my warranty request?

User's recommendation: If you have a problem with your TV that is a factory warranty problem, don't expect TCL to care. The technical peoble will pretty much ignore you. I have had a warranty issue since Septmeber 2023 that has still not been corrected. This is my first and last TCL product.

NO, I WILL NOT. I had an old Samsung smart TV die a week ago.

When looking for a new replacement set, I DID NOT look at any TCL products. I bought a LG set.

I have been having an ongoing service/technical issue with TCL since September. 2023.

My TV is unable to open Amazon Prime Video. It crashes every time it tries to open. After months of what felt like unlimited troubleshooting, which did not solve the issue, TCL finally sent a service technician to replace the motherboard and Wi-Fi board. The tech put the parts in, and left.

He did not stick around to see if he solved the problem. His parting words were, "if this does not work, call me and let me know. I will report to TCL the parts did not solve the problem". Well, the parts replacement did not work.

After more months of sending emails to TCL complaining they asked me to try more troubleshooting. I have found a workaround, but I have to use my smartphone as a hot spot to get Amazon app to work. I still cannot push the Amazon button on my remote and get the Amazon app to open. I did not buy this TV to have to use my smartphone to get it to work properly.

As of three weeks ago, TCL has stopped communicating with me. Total silence from them. I am guessing my multiple emails to them are now DO automatically deleted. I know TCL does not care, but last weekend I bought a new 55" LG TV.

IT WORKS!
DO NOT BUY TCL.

THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR $$$$$

Inability to provide me any monetary compensation or replacement for a faulty TV. I have a 65 TCL that is JUST over 2 years old that caused my soundbar to inadvertently turn onWHEN THE TV WAS POWERED DOWN!

I spent literally hours with three separate representatives to troubleshoot, reset, etc. etc.to no resolution. They kept telling me it wasnt their TV that was the problemit was the soundbar! I changed HDMI cords, factory reset the TV and soundbaragain it turned on.

When they still made the determination it wasnt their TV, I hooked the soundbar to a Samsung and a Vizio TV.the result?! It was the TCL, because I had both plugged in for hours and overnight and the soundbar did NOT inadvertently go on! When the rep finally somewhat conceded that it was rare, but could be the TV, he told me that there is nothing they could do for me because it was past the one year warranty. I had even asked him to elevate the claim to a superior; he refused!

It is hard to believe that I need to buy a new TV after only one year! MY GUARANTEE to them is that I will never purchase anything TCL again and will let my friends and family know to do the same.

“I have a 65 TCL tv that is just over two years old....”. “I can’t believe I have to buy a new tv after just one year.” Did you travel back in time from the beginning of your post to the end? Aside from it being out of warranty, even with your time travel, there is nothing wrong with your tv as it was sold to you and as it still functions.

Broken tv after 1 year please help

Hello, I bought a TCL 55" TV in December 2022 at Best Buy in Richmond, Canada. Last week, just over a year after the purchase, the TV stopped working.

I believe it's only the display because it turns on, and I can hear the sound, but there is no picture.

I am very frustrated because having this kind of problem after only one year of use seems unreasonable, especially considering that I paid $560 in cash and had checked excellent reviews about the TV on forums and also on the Best Buy website.

My 5-year-old daughter is extremely disappointed and sad as she is the one who uses the TV the most to watch her cartoons and improve her English. We are from Brazil, and the TV helps us a lot with entertainment and correct English pronunciation.

The TV is much more than a simple decoration or pastime for us; it is a necessary and important tool for our development as citizens and a family in Canada.

Therefore, we are quite saddened that after just one year of use, we can no longer enjoy the benefits of the TV we purchased.

We currently cannot afford to buy a new TV, so I would like to know what you can do to help us, especially now during this winter when outdoor activities are more challenging. It would be incredible if you could either fix our TV or provide us with a new one at no additional cost.

Thank you, and I look forward to your response so that we can continue trusting the TCL brand and recommend it to our friends and acquaintances.

Poor service

If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I purchased a 65" TCL TV online from Amazon.

As usual their delivery was quick, the TV was packed well arriving undamaged. Within in a few days I noticed a screen issue. I emailed TCL support to report the issue. Several days and numerous emails later they agreed to replace the defective set.

Upon registering the product, I purchased an extended warranty that supposedly covered return and replacement should a problem occur. I was shocked to learn they did not honor their own warranty expecting me to setup the new TV and dispose of the defective unit myself.

In effect TCL has no service, apparently their warranty is meaningless. After nearly a month I'm still waiting on the replacement.

I need to File a claim on my TCL Roku tv.I do have a warranty protection plan

I won the TV at a raffle at work and when I got it hm and plugged it up, it showed blurry and partially a full screen .Now I have a print out of the receipt because the original one faded. My warranty is still good .I also have the protection 4yr warranty. Now how do I file a claim?
